My sister-in-law, Donna, went into the hospital on October 26th. She just wasn't feeling well and was extremely nauseous. As many of you know, Donna is a diabetic in her early 40's and she had a heart attack almost 3 years ago.
As it turned out, they discovered that she had a major heart attack. Most of November was spent between home and the hospital while Donna recovered from a quadruple bypass.
As a quick update, she is doing better. Recovery is slow, but the doctors will tell you that it takes a good 6 months to recover from open heart surgery.
Just keep Donna in your prayers. She has alot going on.

As many of you know, Stefan is in the Haughton High band....and loves it! In October they performed at the District XIII Marching Festival at Parkway High School. And they did very well. The girls and I went to show our support...and as a little bonus, my alma mater (Southwood) was there. Let's just say that their style has changed alot since I was in the band there.
Here are a few shots from Haughton's performance:

And here are a couple of the girls that were there to keep me company and irritate all at the same time:

Over the next few days, I am going to attempt to play catch up on my posting. It has just been crazy around here between family and work. Bear with me and I will make several posts over the next few days.

What do you get with one big brother, a few friends, a couple of pumkins, a pink princess, and batgirl? You get a really fun fall festival and two sugar wired little girls that don't want to go to bed. Here are sone Halloween glimpses from our neck of the woods.....
