Miscellaneous pics

Sometimes it seems like my hard drive is overloaded with pics that I never print, share, or show. Well...really...it is overloaded....so here are a few to share just because :)

Yes...I know...I know...

I like to think of the above picture as the "mugshot" look.

This is our mole defeater. It sends out little waves every few seconds. It is supposed to scare away the pesky mole that keeps tunneling in our yard. The jury is still out on this thing!

A few weeks ago the girls came out of their room dressed in their swimsuits, red velvet hats, and sunglasses. They said they wanted to go play in their little pool. (We have one of those kiddie pools set up so they can play in the water without us having to get into the big pool.)

I was fine with this.....here they are as they were preparing for what they called a "beach party".

Of course, little did I know, there would be demands. First they came to the back door requesting...ice cold lemonade. Then they came back asking for magazines - they needed something to read as they lounged by the pool. Then they came back and demanded that the radio be turned on....no beach party is complete without music. I was left wondering when they would request a pool boy to fan them?!?

Looks like they were getting ready to recruit our dog for something.....

4th of July

I know...I'm so far behind....I actually think that I might be ahead. Yeah...right. Anyway, we had a great 4th of July. It was spend with the Bennetts and the Johnsons at the Johnson's house. So that equals a lot of kids, a lot of good food, and several fireworks that could potentially injure someone. Fortunately no one was hurt this year.

It was great to spend time with our friends before Greg had to go to Minot (he was gone for 2 weeks this month).

I promised to take pics for Tricia since she wasn't here. So here they are:

Donna's Birthday - July 2nd

I know that I am behind. I really think that everyone has gone on a blogging break. It's summer...right?

Anyway, Donna's birthday was July 2nd (my sister-in-law). My mother-in-law, Sarah, Lynette, Ellen and I took Donna to Olive Garden for her birthday. We had been trying to do this since Donna's bypass surgery back in November. It just never seemed to happen though. So, we chose to do it on her birthday instead. We ended up having a great time. The timing was perfect because we all could make it...right before Sarah's move to Ruston.
