Since Cindy doesn't have a blog...here we go

Since my dear, best friend, Cindy, does not yet have a blog..I have decided to do some bragging for her. So, here goes....

Tricia...just a few days before she had Jubilee. I love this picture.....I didn't ever think that Tricia would ever really look pregnant. She has always been so thin....she reminds me so much of Cindy in this picture.

The following are just shots of Mommy and baby.....

(Tricia made the baby sling...without a pattern.)

Now a shot of the proud Daddy with his daughter. Cindy said that Stephen rushes in from work everyday to play with Jubilee.

The proud parents...of course you can't actually see the baby in this one.....

And here is one of Grandpa (don't know what he wants to be called) and Jubilee....
Yes...she will have Tony wrapped around her finger.

This last one was taken at the airport right before Cindy and Tony left. I know that Tricia has that new mother tired look, but other than that, I think she looks great!

Everyone is doing well. Remember to check out their blog for updates....

Cindy is a grandma!

My best friend, Cindy, has been in Canada for the past few weeks with her daughter, who was expecting a baby on July 7th. I am just copying a post from Stephen and Tricia's blog regarding the birth of their baby girl.

"Jubilee Faith Taylor was welcomed into the world at 3:45 am Thursday July 12.
She was 7 lb 8 oz and 20 '' long.

Tricia and I had been anxiously awaiting the arrival of our baby and when Tricia's water broke at 6am TUESDAY morning we were expecting the baby later that day. Jubilee, however, had other plans...

After 44 hours of labor we took Tricia into the hospital where they confirmed what we expected; they baby was partially posterior (facing the wrong direction) Her head was turned and she wasn't able to fit down right. The doctors used a vacuum to turn her head and then Tricia was able to push her out right after that. We now have a healthy little girl. Tricia is a little sore but she is doing really well too.

During the early stages of Tricia's labor she and I were comparing giving birth to running an ironman triathlon (a 2.4 mi [3.9km] swim, 112 mi [180km] bike ride and a 26.2 mi [42km] run) We decided that they would be fairly close but the ironman might be a little harder... Boy, were we ever wrong in Tricia's case! With almost 46 HOURS of labor (granted not all of that time was really hard labor) I think anyone in their right mind would rather run an ironman! And I thought me running a triathlon was impressive... Not even close."

Have you ever seen the Michelin baby?

I have. This week as a surprise to me, my sister-in-law and 4 month old nephew flew in from Florida. This was my first time to see Richard...who was named after my Dad. I am only posting 2 pictures tonight....so Cindy can see him. But believe me, I will be posting more later this week. This little boy already has his Aunt Sharron wrapped around his finger.

He is only 4 months old and already weighs about 23 pounds...

Now you see it....now you don't

A week or two ago, I posted some shots of Stefan with his longer hair...but no braces.

Now here is a shot of him without his long hair. He cuts it every summer and it usually takes us a few days to get used to. I like it though.....what do you guys think?
